Self Tuning

All,

I just purchased HP tuners to go along with the 0411 pcm swap for the hoe... Was wondering if anyone has any experience with self tuning and could point me in the right direction on where to start and what I should be doing/ looking for, any help is appreciated, heres my list of mods to tune for-

- 0411 pcm
- spectre CAI
- 78mm shaved throttle body
- mpfi injector conversion
- gmpp cam (HT383E) .431/.451 lift, 196/206 duration, 109 LSA
- 1.6" roller rockers
- pace setter shorty headers
- magnaflow hi flow cats
- magnaflow mufler
- 4.10 gears

Yess, immidiatly buy a wideband O2 setup! Do not try and tune off of the OEM narrowband O2.
And go ask over at ls1tecH.com, after you have installed you AEM, or http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTXL.php, for advise.
Most of those guys run hptuners..

I'm running black bear now and I love it, I'm just not loving having to ship my computer to cali from jersey :/ I figured id give hp tuners a shot, ill have the control over the truck now and ill be able to gain the knowledge of something new. I think its a good project, I just need the right information.

Who is running the swap on here?

do you efi live guys have any pointers on where to start tuning for my mods (in sig)? Im sure its the same concept with either program as far as tuning, units used/percentage changes... I just wanna gather as much knowledge possible about actually tuning the parameters rather than looking at the differences between the programs, you know?

Off hand you will need to tune for gears/tire combo, air volume of the larger TB, injector settings, & most importantly that cam.
