I have a 97 Yukon, wondering if anyone has removed the child safety feature on the rear windows? Cant stand the windows only going down 5 inches.

I think this has been addressed on other posts. Look at the rear door man. Is there enough room for the whole window to fit in there or is the wheel well in the way?

There is an easy way to do this. These guys are just picking on you and not telling you the secret. It is like hazing the new guy.

Like previous posters stated, it's not a child safety feature, it's a door design issue. If you want a rear window that goes all the way down, you'll have to roll a Subby or Yukon XL - they have the full-sized rear door.
