So I have been working on installing kenwood 6990 since yesterday. I managed to get it working. tested the sound and everything seems fine, but I couldnt fit it in the dash. so I took out all the wires and re routed them. after that its not working anymore.

Kenwood 6990
GMOS 100
I tried disconnecting battery and reconnecting but nothing. not even the red light on the gmos 100

I checked all the wires that were spliced and attached together and everything is good.

Here is one thing. I tried putting my old radio back to see if maybe I had too much force on the stock adapters. The radio light comes on but nothing comes on the screen. also the brake assist is on.

I really have no previous experience with installations but I like doing things myself. saves me money and makes me feel good.
so if anyone can tell me whats wrong.

when I was rerouting the wires I had alot of pressure on almost all the wires because its tight behind the radio.

U probably popped a fuse. Check them all and replace the fuse for the sound system even if it looks good to see if it is the fuse being bad
