Our 2026 Yukon XL AT4 just updated on Friday and added the interior camera, theft alarm recording, and other stuff. Unfortunately, since the update, the recordings feature has stopped working.

I have a 64GB drive formatted to FAT32 in the port below the screen. It recognizes the drive and allows me to turn on the recording features. When I drive, the red circle symbol that shows it is recording flashes on and off continually. When I go to the recordings app, there is nothing there.

It was working fine before the update. Any suggestions or similar?

Here’s a video to show the flashing:

Just updated mine I had no issues. Maybe try ejecting it from the menu and putting it back in. If that doesn’t work disconnect the battery for 15 min and try the drive again. If that don’t work reformat it. That’s what I’d do.

I formatted mine in ExFAT format and it worked just fine....

Another question on this topic question It used to be when I pulled in the garage and I was approaching something slowly the cameras would flip on immediately as it kind of knew you were inching toward something..... now when I pull in the garage the cameras don't seem to flip on unless I pick them. Is that a setting that needs to be renewed or is that a change in the software with one of the last updates? I prefer them to flip on when I'm coming in or doing something slowly..

Mine still come on automatically when I’m close to something. Just wish my camera would record.

FWIW,
I read the info for my Vistiq update and was surprised the camera recording was that easy. Formatted a 128 GB drive and boom, I’m in business. Even has an interior camera I was not aware of. Playback shows outside or inside with time/date stamp.
