Hello guys, I'm chris in Peoria arizona
Just bought my first 95 yukon 2 door geneva edition with sunroof
143k miles in decent shape, 1 owner

Getting a 4" lift from rough country with all front end suspension and rear suspension bushings being replaced... arrives tomorrow, super stoked....not sure what size rim and tire set up I'm going with yet but thinking about 18"s on 31" or 33"
Fender flares arrived today...

Is there anything else u guys can input on what I should do or get for my lift.... (drive shaft...etc...)?

All options would be appreciated

Just fyi...no hard core wheeling, just enoigh to get to some good fishing spots,

Plus I want a good looking rig

I already took off the fg running boards

Nice truck. I would defiantly put a locker in the rear and a set of gears. If they say you need 373 to get back to stock with tires go 411. If they say go 411 I would go 456 my 96 tahoe i did a lot of towing and it was a dog with the gear they said was stock and actually got better gas mileage with the lower gear then the higher gear I had 35's and 456 gears and was getting 15mpg with 411s I was getting like 8 to 10 mpg with. Stock motor and tranny 8" lift. Another upgrade that made a big difference was the stainless braided break lines huge in stopping power

So u agree that a 4" lift is good?
What about 1" or 2" body lift along with the 4" lift.

I don't plan on towing at all with this yukon, but you think I should go with 4:56 gears...even though I'll be on 31" or 33"

With a tire no bigger then 33 I would go with a 411. You want getup and go and be able to clean the tires if they get caked up you are going to go off road right go up hills the recommended with 36s to go to a 411 and I drove it out of the shop and drove it for a week and it went back for the 456 gear. That was with the 36s not 33. If I were you I would put 411s in it and a Yukon locker they were the gears that lasted for me

Body lift depending on who does it is good. It also makes it easy to change parts. And gives you more room along the firewall and also easy to clean the fram after being in the woods

Just make sure you use locktight and the bolts are tight when you are done go through and tighten the bolts again
