Hi -

I'm from California. I've been reading through this forum some weeks now. I've recently acquired a 97 Yukon 4wd 4-Door. I've been waiting patiently for this truck, and I do mean specifically this truck as I've had many memories in it (it was my father's truck). I've helped him work on it, learned it inside and out, got my license back in the day with this truck, I mean, the list goes on. He finally moved on to another vehicle and I am now the proud owner of this thing. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself. I prefer to go by "grimm" or "iceman" Look forward to reading some posts and posting stuff myself.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I'm actually from Northern California. My Yukon is bone stock and probably hasn't had a car wash in like a year. Now that its mine, I have some plans in the works, but I have to take care of some minor issues first. It needs a drivers interior door handle (damn thing snapped off), needs a passenger door lock (the actual key portion), I need to do the brakes, and I think that about covers it. Its a little aggravating to remember to roll the window down, open the door, and then roll it up again every time I want to exit the vehicle, lol. Sometimes if I forget, I just get out on the passenger side, haha. Mechanically, its in great shape, runs very strong and smooth. When I find my camera, I'll post some pics. Thanks again guys!
