What he means is to move the front axle forward and the rear axle rearward.

Moving the axles and adding longer leafs will improve the ride, give you more articulation and look a bit better because you could center things up in the wheel wells...

Exactly! Thanks for photoshopping that to show the improvement.

You could also possibly drill new center pins into the leaf springs to get the stretch. Since you're getting new driveshafts, this is the perfect time.
