It depends on clearance. I had to move my half shaft out of the way. And you should loosen the LCA and UCA mounting bolts so the bushings can rotate to their new position. Flip the strut, put the vehicle on the ground into it's loaded position, then tighten up the LCA and UCA bolts.I’m going to attempt the strut flip tomorrow. My hardware just arrived.
Is it as simple as unbolting the bottom and swinging it back a bit, jacking up the lower control arm and swinging it under? Or do I have to unbolt the top of the strut as well?
I used double locking nuts on the strut bolts for peace of mind. I have around 20K on this setup. I setup the camber angles on my own and did my own "toe and go" alignment. You will definitely have to adjust the toe once this drop is performed.
