Remeber this one?
arb.jpg

Well i found ARBs facebook page and posted a picture of it and some info on it. The PR guy for ARB dug up the write up and sent it to the head of bumper design in Australia. So while we wait, post some comments on the picture to help nudge the guys at ARB. We have already had great comments from people outside of the forum.

Heres the FB link

Has anymore information about this bumper been released? and has anyone figured out how to do the mod and make the brackets for mounting to our Tahoes? these bumper companies need to realize size is a concern to the consumers.. and not all of us want 3' of bumper hanging out front adding couple hundred pounds to the front suspension.. this is reason i have not bought the Ranch Hand Legend Bull nose.. it sticks out too far.. but it is a very appealing bumper.. that would splatter a deer, pig, goat, if it got in my way.... but this ARB looks compact and very clean on the hoe. does anyone know the person that did the mod??

EDIT; do we know what year Land Cruiser this bumper is for? and if all that needs to be fabbed is mount brackets then heck i have welders and heavy gauge steel in the shop..????

The Silverado/Sierra bar that ARB already makes will fit the Yukon/tahoe just fine. Its been done. The only issue is that the bar section of the bumper that protects the headlights sits lower so you need to modify and raise that section on both sides to be able to have full output from the headlights, if you can live with less than full lighting then you dont even need to modify it.. you can mount winches, lights, whip antennas, all sorts of crap on these things, trust me, im fresh back from aussie land haha.

Ive seen the tahoe version of it and its just not as "sleek" as the one above. It hangs out way to far. It almost adds another foot to the total length.

Its made by SmittyBilt. I dont remember the model name but they dont make it anymore. They shut it down a couple years ago. I got mine off a member off Z71 that sold his tahoe. If you look hard enough youll be able to find one but as far as i know im one of the few lucky to have one. There are only 2 other people on Z71 that have one.
