Great road trip in our ‘25 Tahoe

Just completed our first 1700 mile road trip from WA>ID>UT>NV>AZ in 3 days. The Z71 rode great on some rough roads and the diesel was superb. Now have 3k miles on it.

Here’s a shot of a quick stop in the Valley of Fire State Park in NV.

Granted there were several passes and a good 600 mile stretch was 80-85 mph (posted limits), we got 23mpg over 1700 miles

I’ve been to the Valley of Fire area - it is beautiful.

I did a 6,000 mile road trip in my new Escalade. Amazing trucks. Some dirt gravel roads. Maybe my next set of tires will be more aggressive.

Just completed a 1700 mile trip with our 21 Escalade 3.0 Duramax from Indiana to Hilton Head. Averaged 26mpg with a lot of driving on the island. The Super Cruise was outstanding, used it 90% of the trip. We split the trip in half going, on the way home drove straight through 13 hours total. That included several long stop to stretch or legs and give our dog a break. Was not a bit tired after 13 hours. I attribute that to the Super Cruise doing all the driving.

I just had my super cruise updated. Sometimes it refuses to engage, until the regular cruise is engaged first.
