Considering buying another tahoe

i Came across a really nice 2006 tahoe the otherday for 5600 just over 100k miles really clean 5.3 LT now i did notice that its a PPV tahoe
can just enyone order a PPV tahoe ? im jsut curious if this was once a law enforcement vehicle or someone just ordered thiat way

They are only available to order from law enforcement. Doesn't mean they were drove by a traffic cop though. It could be detectives, security for the Mayor/Governor. or any one really in law enforcement.
