I installed two Concept Chameleon (CLD-902) headrest monitors today. This isn't a detailed write-up, but I did want to share a few lessons learned.
Side by side. OEM headrest on the left and the Concept Chameleon on the right. Noticeable difference in size.
Grounded the setup using the right rear bolt from the driver's seat. It's a TORX bolt but a 12mm socket took it right off.
Where to get power was the hardest part to figure out. The forums recommended using fuse 49. But 49 had no power under any condition. I used 48 instead. A fuse tap with a 3-AMP mini fuse got it working. Poking the wire through the rubber grommet into the engine bay was also not fun or easy. I tried fuse 34 S/ROOF but discovered that the circuit had power at all times (I do not have a sunroof).
48 - AUX HVAC/IGN
Here is the finished product.
