Hi everyone! Im brand new to the forum, and Tuesday am going to pick up my first Tahoe!

It’s a 2015 PPV and it runs like a gem and there isn’t many issues with it, apart from nothing in the center console getting power. That includes: rear climate controls, a couple cigarette lighters, and the dual USB / Aux port in the center console compartment.

From what I think I understand, it seems like either before or after auction they slapped a center console in without connecting it to any power, but im not 100% sure. Anyone have any experience with this and know what is a common fix?

I’m attaching pictures of a wire harness that was left with the car from the auction I believe!

Thanks in advance! Excited to get to work!

that looks like the harness that goes to the console, you will probably have to pull the console, attach the ends to the various things and then comes the fun part of finding the opposing ends........

Yeah the loose wire side of it is the part that worries me. Not actually making the connections, but finding their correct place haha

if your lucky you will find the same wires cut up under the dash/behind the console area, but probably not visible until that console is out.
this video may be helpful for how to get the console out or part way out
this one is actually for the radio screen but to get the radio screen out part of the console has to be removed, the seats might need to come out to get the whole console out.
click on the play button and it will take you to youtube

Keep in mind that PPV's didn't come with some things like rear climate controls in the console so it wont have that wiring. You'd figure it would have at least had the 12V plug so there should be a harness of some sort harness for it either in the dash or under the floor covering in the console area.

The connector for the center console is under the passenger seat. The ends you have on that harness plugs into the center console.
The two that are the same are for cigarette lighters and the other is data for the usb/sd card slot. I went with a jumpseat in mine.

Have ypu figured anything out? Im struggling to get my console connected. I took the center console apart but left the radio in and the harnesses arent connected. The wires and such that I did see didnt seem to be a match for the harnesses that power the center console usb and wireless charger...
