I got a 2001 Yukon XL 5.3, and all of the gauges stay on all night draining battery. Each time you open or close the door it takes 20 seconds looking thought the window for the gauges to start moving by themselves. It dosen't matter if the door is or isn't locked. Have any idea what this might be?

I think is the door lock mechanism, remove it and clean it. There is a how in this forum. Free fix, give it a shot
