Alpine's new 9" Head Unit for 07-14 GM SUV/Pickups

This thing looks absolutely huge, and is capable of showing vehicle diagnostic info on it's screen. Also it's not HD, which seems pretty dumb considering it's a 9" screen. Not sure what to think

The three nav systems are the $1,500-suggested 7-inch INE-W957HD, $2,100 8-inch X008U, and 9-inch X009-GM, which is a direct fit for 2007-2013 GM trucks and 2007-2014 GM SUVs despite its oversize display. Its pricing hasn’t been announced.

I think I read somewhere that the 9" model will cost $2500. If the navigation maps aren't upgradeable it's definitely not worth it.

It would have to be better than my iPad mini... Which it's probably not. Don't really care if I can control the a/c since it's 2 inches below the touchscreen. Don't need mph on it since there is a gauge cluster within better sight and it also has the same info in the DIC...

This thing looks sick!! I wouldn't mind it not being HD. It's only 9" so I'm pretty sure it's plenty clear.
