Ok guys i need some ideas. I was entering the highway and gave her hell to go around a semi(enter the highway behind him, then bounced over to the fast lane). About that time she cut out and died. I thought i had ran out of gas. So i called aaa. They brought gas. Still wouldnt start, then my weak battery died. I called my wife. Put a new one in. Did the same crap. Cranks then cranking slows down then it tries to start for a second. Then starts what i stated all over again. I replaced my fuel pump today and still does the same thing. Please help i miss my hoe. Maybe its time to thrpw my lq9 in it.

unknown at this time.
if you crank slowly with a new battery it sounds more like bad electrical connections like grounding points. did you check the fuel pressure before blowing money on a fuel pump.

I've never seen one do this in dry conditions but recently my distributor cap/rotor did this to me when trying to start. I wouldn't think it would cause it to stall but if you have spark and it looks weak, pull the cap and inspect.

Mine would crank over a bit faster than normal and then all of a sudden slow down as if the battery were dead or almost as if the engine were hydrolocking for a split second. Then the engine would barely try to start.

It's a free check, just takes a few minutes.

Check your fuel pump relay,My 96 silvy always burned up fuel pump relays until i fixed the ground on the tank....Before buying parts you should always check for fuel ,fire then pursue problems from there.
