2025 Diesel orders opened

I have a 2024 yukon with a 5.3… but i did just get a duramax 2025 slt… i have had many oil burners.. not really a fan. However.. i have changed my mind… if you get one that does most of what you want, i would. They great driving and do very well mpg.

I also got a Yukon Denali Duramax order submitted by my dealer on 02/06, still no words on when it will be accepted by GM. Rep told me expect 8-12 weeks from order placing to dealer arrival.

I check on GMC.com with the chat function, it also said submitted, but not yet accepted.

Let's hope for the best!!!

I also had my dealer place an order for a Tahoe HC w/ 3.0L a week or so ago.

The chatbot on chevrolet.com tells me this:

"Your order has been submitted by your dealer but has not officially been accepted by GM at this time."

My dealer told me that while they were able to place orders, that GM would probably not be accepting them for 2-3 weeks.

A little update. They didn't receive any diesel allocations last week. My salesman is going to try get the oder push forward (I guess one of his clients works at the headquarters) so that it makes it on the first production run. Ill post another update when everything is confirmed.

Simple Burb LZ0 black Z71 with required options (comfort, buckets, sunroof) ordered 1/17. Was going to change interior color, but didnt want to risk delay.

I ordered mine two months ago and they said I would be one of the 1st in line when the order banks opened. I seriously don't expect to receive it till probably late May to even into June, Really...... No use getting yourself worked up over these. They aren't gonna be showing up lickety split....

You're probably right, but my 16 Burb got taken out by a careless driver and Im without a family vehicle - driving a 09 civic right now

I ordered mine on November. I was my dealers first diesel order also. I'm truly expecting mid may when I take delivery. The timing would be perfect since my trade-in price is depending on being under a certain number of miles. That's one of the reasons my dealer is trying to push my order. If not no biggie I'll drive my summer vehicle if the temperature is warm enough.

Dealer called yesterday and gave me some inside dealers. Sounds like they are filling allocations. 3 hurdles on my order... Z71, sunroof, and diesel. He mentioned that the Z71 was a big hurdle with (dont quote me on this) 54 units available for allocation this week. A month ago, he did mention that GM had an issue with the sunroofs and all inventory was being returned to the OEM to fix a possible leak issue.

Would have loved the auto side boards but we just do not ever use a sunroof. Hard to figure why they are required on the upgrades.

I like the sunroof but only for the light. I never open the actual window and typically leave the shade half open as well.

What I don’t like is this year it seems so many of the options are tied together. Want a 2nd row bench seat? No Diesel or sunroof for you. Ridiculous.

You can't get a bench seat with the diesel? That can't be. Are you just referring to the Denali? Or is that any Yukon? And is it the same for the Suburban?

From the dealer I am working with in OK: the Bench Seat is only available in the LT, RST, OR z71 w/ the 5.3 engine. Can not order a bench with the 3.0 or 6.2!

I am new here, and have been watching the boards the past few months...with hope that someone, somewhere, has figured out the bench seat/3.0 conundrum.

I have never purchased new.
Never had a Suburban.

Want to ditch my F150 for the z71 Suburban with 3.0 and a bench seat.

To say that I am frustrated with Chevy, would be an understatement!

Same here, coolant leaks and turbo issues. Mine is a '14 king ranch eco boost, and barely get over 15-16 mpg.

3.0 seems like the best of both worlds, great mpg combined with torque.
With GMC offering the 3.0 with magnetic, air ride, bench, & Super cruise (I couldn't care less about).... I see no reason the refreshed '25's couldn't have the same set up.

I am hoping that once more inventory hits dealers, Chevy will remove some constraints on the 3.0. Maybe wishful thinking

I am a touch confused. A few people here are saying they already ordered??? All the dealers in my area are saying they cant even submit an order until Monday March 3rd.
