2019 Yukon HUD is Intermittant

My HUD display won't stay ON. It comes on and off as if there was a "loose wire" that responds to road bumps.

Is it easy to get to the unit and check the connector? Or is there a huge effort to remove the dash?

Nope - not hard at all. A sharp strike with the palm of your hand to the underside of the visor over the cluster should pop it up and loose. The HUD unit is screwed into the panel beneath the visor and behind the cluster. If you want to get to the HUD controls, that panel comes off easily as well.

"visor over the cluster"? I thought it was burried in the dashboard near the windshield. You mean in the roof console where the sunroof controls are? Really? And projects down to the windshield?

Maybe I'm confused (as usual). Thanks!!

He's talking about the "visor" that pops over the instrument cluster. I suppose i would call it a dash trim piece, but what he is saying is a careful thud up on that, in front of the steering wheel, should pop that panel up and give you access
