01 rear view mirror with compass and temp

The compass and temp on the rear view mirror stopped working on my 01 Yukon.

Anyone replaced theirs? if so, with what?

Anyone repaired theirs? if so, how?

Have you tried swapping in a replacement rear view form a junkyard?

That would tell you if it’s your mirror or a connection or module that’s failed.

way less hassle to just go grab a used one.
it has to be the same mirror, you can't get a different one (at least in respect to functionality)
so take your old mirror with you or take some pictures to match it up.
they just die eventually, ya you could maybe repair it but not worth the hassle unless your are bored and your wife hates you or something, lol
