'03 Tahoe 5.3/4L60/NP246 Swap to 6.0/4L80
I have an '03 Tahoe with the 5.3 Flex, 4L60E, and NP246 (auto 4wd) transfer case. I have the opportunity to buy a low mileage rusted out truck for parts and I'm wondering how straightforward it would be to swap the drivetrain from the junker into my Tahoe. 1997 4l80e to a 2007 LS engine
Will a 1997 4L80E bolt up to 2007 LS engine? It is for my Yukon. The only difference I see in the bolt pattern is the center top bolt. The LS engine has a bolt hole but this year of 4l80 doesn't. It does have the "newer" trans cooler line seperated. A guy is selling this 4l80 with only 70k...- yukon702
