90K miles on original tires. Any one using Michelins Cross Climate2 tires?

I ended up going with General UHP 305/45/22. Have 4K miles on them already and have seen snow/icey conditions with no issues. These tires really handle well and I'm still getting mid 20s mpg. I did adjust the tire size via my tuner so the speedo matches the GPS speed.

Applied CQUARTZ UK 3.0 Ceramic Coating on my Yukon

The hard work is all in the paint correction. Super easy to apply the ceramic. Next on my list to ceramic coat is my 1973 Camaro that I will be painting this summer. Still need to install the 6.2L & 6 speed 1st.

Pirelli AS plus 3 vs Michelin Defenders LTX M/S

I ended up going with General Grabber UHP 305/45/22 and have over 3K miles on them. These are a summer tire but stick to the road even in snow. Much better ride than the factory tires as well.

Applied CQUARTZ UK 3.0 Ceramic Coating on my Yukon

16 months & 24K miles later the ceramic coating on the Yukon is still doing great. So easy to keep the Yukon clean. 4 months ago I ceramic coated my wife's 2014 SS Sedan then last month I ceramic coated my 2011 Camaro SS

Installed 305/45/22 General Grabber UHP tires on my 2018 Yukon Denali

Just got back from a 2K mile road trip including some snow & icey conditions without any issues, even left it in RWD. With the original tires I had to put it in AWD if the roads were wet otherwise the rear tires would break loose.

Installed 305/45/22 General Grabber UHP tires on my 2018 Yukon Denali

320 A A but got them from Tire Rack for $600 set of 4. Got 95K miles out of those slippery Toyo tires that I was running. Hoping to get 40K out of these.

Installed 305/45/22 General Grabber UHP tires on my 2018 Yukon Denali

1,000 miles on my 305/45/22 General Grabber UHP tires with a good mix of rain, snow, hail & slush with great results even though I never took it out of RWD . My son has a 2015 Yukon Denail and both ours had Toyo tires when we bought them. On wet roads we both had to use AWD to avoid the rear...

Installed 305/45/22 General Grabber UHP tires on my 2018 Yukon Denali

I ran the same setup with same drop kit except for 20" rims on my 2008 Avalanche and I had the pie cut/plastic weld the endcaps of the electronic running boards. The Yukon electronic running boards clear. Only have slight running in tight turns but have no rubbing on my 50 mile roundtrip for...

    AFM / DOD Delete

I had my AFM tuned out for 30K+ miles & still had an AFM lifter failure on my 2018 Yukon Denali. I have 6k miles on my AFM delete & went from 20 to 21+ mpg with mixed driving. My 50 mile round trip to work nets me 25-27mpg depending on how may lights I hit. The extra power thru the whole rpm...

    73 Camaro

Paid $500 for some Continental DWS06 245F & 275R tires on BMW 20x8.5F & 20x10R forged rims. 85% tread. These weigh 11lbs less per wheel than what was on the car. I will paint them black & use SS center caps.

    73 Camaro

My plan is to use the heat/ac, gauge cluster and HUD if possible so using the Gen 5 dash is a real possibility or at least parts of it. I have to get everthing apart to see what needs to be modified. That's the plus of having a good donor. If the 2011 was a coupe it will still be a donor...

    73 Camaro

I did a full inspection underneath and found some dirt along passenger side but no metal damage. Did find the driver's side swaybar link bent that they didn't mark as damaged but marked the passenger's upper control because they look bent from the factory but was fine. With just my eyeball...

I haven't opened the FedEx envelope yet. I was planning to part it out so didn't even think about it. Will have to see what is required to get it new title & tags.

    73 Camaro

Well, looks like I'm in the hunt for another donor car. Replaced the front struts, passenger lower control arm & installed an AC belt on the 2011 Camaro. Now AC blows cold, drive great and straight. All gears were very smooth and clutch feels good. Brake pads are at 90%. Just too nice to take...

    73 Camaro

The 2011 Camaro donor arrived. Started right up and drove it off the trailer. Only issues I see are a bent lower control arm & a broken rim. Runs & sound great. Added bonus the hood is carbon fiber and cost $1,500 new.

    Headlight Condensation 2018 Yukon

My son bought a used 2015 Yukon Denali that had condensation in all headlights & tail lights. He went aftermarket headlights & took us about an hour to replace all 4 lights. The front clip does have to come off but only took a few minutes to get off.

Installed a H8 battery in my 2018 Yukon Denali

My 6 year old battery finally reached end of life on my 2018 Yukon Denali. Looking online I saw H7 as the correct replacement. Went to Costco which didn't carry H7 but had H8. Looked online which said H7 & H8 were same size but H8 was higher capacity. Well they are not the same size but I...
