    Bit off topic, but does this cause the car to have a 'hill assist' control? Because I swear when getting going from a stop on a hill it feels like it takes an extra push of the pedal like the brakes are holding without my foot on the brake pedal. Never bothered to look it up though.

    I'm not even looking forward to it on our current one :D because I probably will not convert to the fixed struts. I believe ours has the Z55 "Autoride" package, thankfully not the Z95 "Magnetic ride control" which I hear is even pricier.

    Thanks! Good to know about the extra thickness too. I've had good luck with them and Bosch in the past, but haven't bought stuff for the GM vehicles in a bit. I'll proceed w buying that one then most likely.

    What is everyone's general consensus on best alternators these days? The 'lifetime warranty' on the Advance Auto (Carquest) ones are tempting vs. off RockAuto (RA), I just so much prefer the Bosch/ACDelco units off of RA. Decisions decisions.

    Happy with that Denso unit #2219514? Seems that it has both inputs for the oil + trans cooler lines on the sides of it. I was looking at it over the weekend. Want to revamp the entire cooling system next month (radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, etc.) before summer road trip season lol.

    Not sure I'd trade our GMT truck for a K2xx (it would be an incremental purchase but TBD), as big knock on wood LOL given how reliable it's been for us thus far I'm hesitant to give that away. I've always liked the GMC/Denali 'persona' if you will, over the Cadillac. Just personal preference...

    The below video is the best headlight removal / bulb replacement one on YouTube IMO. I have since had to change my headlight bulbs twice, 1 side went out on me after like ~15k miles from me replacing (annoying). Note the grill has to just sort of 'pop' forward, it will not be fully removed...
