Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

Disconnecting the battery and doing the TB relearn procedure did the trick!! The shifting is as smooth as it gets now. Thanks again!

Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

Thanks as always for your comments. I think I will try the trick with the battery. Hopefully it works and if not I will replace the MAF sensor. And yes I do use injecotor cleaner on regular basis. So I should be fine on that side

Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

Sorry missed that. No I didn't remove the TB. I know it is better but I understood it is not a must. Hope I didn't break it.... Although it is working. It is just the delay in shifting.

Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

No just the TB and the MAF sensor. Cleaned both with the right cleaner.

Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

Yes I did the relearn... Leaving the engine to idle for 3 minutes then turn it off for 1 minute and turn it on for 3 minutes.after that I drove it on the highway for some time. Maybe I take it to a mechanic to do the relearn with a diagnostic scanner. Thanks a lot

Delayed shifting after throttle body cleaning

Hi guys, I have cleaned my throttle body and the MAF sensor couple of weeks ago. After the cleaning my 2013 Yukon is not shifting gears as before. It is like it hesitates the shift itself. I haven't had any codes. Also the car idles normally. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks

Interior clicking noise - 2013 Yukon

Hi everyone, today after I started the car, I could hear a very clear clicking noise coming from the right rear side. The noise can only be heard from inside and not outside. My guess was that it is connected to the AC of the car so I turned it off but the clicking remained for the rest of the...

2009 Yukon Transmission noise/rattling when starting in reverse

Not related to this post but out of curiosity... What do you do on the new transmissions from GM where you cant change the transmission fluid anymore? I don't understand why they did it. I have a 2013 Yukon and not planning to sell it anytime soon. But when the time comes I am not sure if I get...

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

Hey guys, just wanted to update you of what happened. I took the car to another mechanic and within 2 minutes he figured that the sound (the video in the original post) is coming from the steering pump. Now it's replaced and the sound is gone. The reason why the engine stalled was related to...

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

No I don't, and I am also convinced it is the pulley. Will take it one more time to the mechanic in a few days and send some updates Thanks for the comments

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

Some more updates, today the engine switched off on its own when I had stopped at the red lights. It turned on again but I am not sure what the issue is. I also noticed that the steering and the gas pedal had gone soft. If it is the intake not sure why the steering wheel went soft. What could it be?

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

I did that but the noise is still there. Will do the throttle body cleaning and change the air filter then. Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this will fix it.

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

I had specifically asked the dealer/mechanic to check the pulleys and the power steering pump. My first guess was there is something wrong with the pulleys because my serpentine belt had broken before because of a bad pulley tensioner which was replaced later. That was six month before the...

    Whinning noise Yukon 2013

Hi everyone, So my truck - 2013 Yukon 6.2L - has been making this whinning/whistling sound. Have had the sound for a few month now. It usually appears after driving it for some time and you hear it only when I accelerate at lower speeds (maybe it is there at higher speeds too but I can't...
