    Surging idle

Just discoloration from exaust, no build up on the passages or in the valve. Was looking towards the IAC . My other trucks are so old they don't have an EGR so I really appreciate the advice.

    Surging idle

My 2000 yukon denali starys right up but surges and stumbles until it warms. Occasionally it doesn't want to take throttle from a stop, doesn't die, but its as if the thottle and peddle arent connected for a few second and then is fine. I cleaned the EGR valve and it is marginally better. Only...

    Freewheeling

Ok folks got one I need educated on. Been a long tome since I've done my own work, so I've never come across this. Picked up a 2000 denali that runs pretty good and figured I'd do the work myself starting with the brakes. Put the whole thing up on stands for ease and proceeded to remove the rear...

I've never seen anything like it rither. New 4row, cap that came with it, freeze plug was replaced prior. "Shot out" like an over boiling studibaker. No one else touches it. Since then, I topped it off, put dye in it and drove it at temp for 20 or so miles, no problems. Must havr been gremlins...

    Radiator pressure

Ok, had to replace a freeze plug in my 5.7, also put on n a 4 row (I live in Arizona). Took it for a test drive and all seemed good. Later I saw what looked like a leak at the freeze plug on the passenger side under the motor mount. Got dejected and didn't do anything for a couple weeks. Today...

Ok folks, new to the Yukon world here. Have a 2000 Denali and have a freeze plug leaking( yes, of course its the one between 1 and 3 pistons under the motor mount). First experience with these metric/sae mix bastards. Tried loosening the pad to cross member bolts, but 15mm is too big, 14 too...
