If you go to https://gmsupplierdiscount.com, then go to Tools - Build & Price tool you don't have to log in or anything to see supplier pricing. Under that tool you can build your own configuration or view inventory for surrounding dealers.
I noticed currently there's one dealer in my area...
I’d try rebooting the system. I think to do that you hold down the call end button on the steering wheel for about 10-15 seconds, then you should see the logo appear on the infotainment system indicating it’s rebooting.
I’ve read on other posts too about the diesel is if you have a short daily drive each day and live in a cold climate, the motor probably won’t come up to temperature at all during the winter months which can be tough on diesel engines.
One of my friends had a Silverado with the diesel and...
When I had a ‘21, I don’t recall hearing the fuel pump either. If there’s no service engine soon light showing, it’s probably the usual rough idle that occurs when the fuel management is active.
Both the 5.3 engines in my ‘21 Tahoe and my current ‘25 Sierra have a bit of a rough idle that...
Yes on the first two.
I tend to not leave it open just to avoid worrying about it. :)
It would be nice if the alerting could be integrated into the vehicle. Meaning if rain or nighttime is coming to send an alert through the GMC/Chevy app.
Guessing something like that could be worth...
If it’s also hot and humid and you’ve got the AC set to real cold to the point where it might be using a lot of AC at stop lights, it may not activate the start/stop function.
There’s other conditions such as battery charge level that may also prevent that from working. If you make short...
That’s strange. The only issue I have with sound on my ‘21 is the turn signals where the electronic clicking noise will disappear for a bit then return.
It really sounds like a battery. My ‘21 Tahoe will prob be acting that way.
My wires ‘20 Traverse did a similar thing last fall. Changed the battery and all is good.
I’ll warn you…the battery is like 50+ lbs and kind of a pain to deal with. I’d recommend having a dealer change it just...
That’s strange for sure.
Not that it matters, but the WiFi hotspot has functioned great in my ‘21 (keep it active for the kids’ tablets). I know the newer models use the 5G version whereas mine is the older 4G paired with their Infotainment 3 touch screen.
What’s strange is I’m noticing the same thing on my ‘21 Premiere model which has the quad exhaust on the back.
I haven’t noticed it in the past…more of a recent discovery then saw this post.
I’m very glad I’m not the only person who used that app. I really enjoyed it. Came back from a business trip and was using the radar to avoid some storms that had hail in them, then literally the very next day I noticed a gap in my icons and discovered it was the Weather Channel App that was...
mines still running quiet after the diff fluid was changed. I was able to get it ran though the power train warranty tied ti thr TSB that’s out for it.
Do you want any of that stuff or are they just including it?
If you don’t want it then I would go to another dealer. Sadly some dealers are trying to pull that BS with consumers to increase their profit. It’s nothing more than a money-grab.
I’m not sure what to make of the pricing. I think they’re getting way too greedy.
My ‘21 Premium today would cost about $10k more to get the same options. There’s a really sweet ‘25 RST near me with the RST performance package but it’s sad for $80k it doesn’t even have cooled seats.
The dirt is actually the dye from my blue jeans wearing into the leather. I’ve just grown to accept that due to how it happened on my prior ‘17 GMC Acadia as it had light-colored leather seats in it too.
But yeah I do slide my ass in and out. :)
Another thought I had is maybe when I last...
Anyone encounter this yet on their ‘21 or newer Tahoe? I noticed today when cleaning and putting some leather protectant on my driver’s side seat that the area closest to the door has two small tears or splits in it.
What’s more odd is this vehicle will be 4 years old in April (has 37k miles...
I’d prob go with the diesel model.
Premium is “recommended” in the 6.2 unless they changed the wording for 2025 in the manual and not “required” so you can run regular in it although the computer will adjust the timing and such and not run at its fullest without Premium. When you look in the...
That’s not great. May have to pull the battery cable for a bit to get that to stop.
If the starter is not turning the engine over after going through that kind of issue prior, kinda wonder if there’s something major going on with the engine. If it was a lifter that went bad (which I had...
It sounds interesting…there’s a little bit of an install process removing an ECU connector and fender liner. I was hoping more for a dish connector easy install. :)
Curious how it works out for you. Thanks for the info on it.
The bad belt noise, did it do that right when accelerating from a stop? My ‘21 just started to do that…doesn’t feel like a slipping transmission but just hear an odd chirp like from a belt all of a sudden.
