I am trying to replace my 2003 GMC Yukon 5.3 steering column shifter mechanism. I purchased the Dorman replacement. I can’t figure out how to remove the cable from the back of the ignition. It has a hook on the top of the cable going inside the ignition and will not come out. Can anyone please...
