Hello all. I have a 2015 Tahoe LT that the front shocks have begun knocking when I hit bumps indicating failure. Am I correct to assume that all Tahoe models 15-20' run the magnaride shocks? Shocks and Struts Replacement
Anyone have any good ideas for red emplacement of the factory magrides? I was looking around and saw an option from strutmasters to convert to a passive style system. I might have stumbled across what the problem is. I have two parts numbers and when I cross reference it on the gmparts site might brighter LED actually comes up as a headlamp for the suburban which I believe since 2015 has had the bright LED regardless of the trim. Looks like the site doesn't... -

So I checked and the part numbers are only one number off so that tells me they should be the same, right? How would the ground effect the brightness of the LED strip? -

Backstory. Few years back lady slid into right front side of Tahoe (2015 year) in the parking lot and cracked right headlight assembly. Chevy dealer replaced it but the LED strip is 10x brighter than the left. Rode like this about 1.5 year and it finally got to me plus left side was leaking... -

I called Morimoto and currently they are in the testing phase for an entire headlight assembly for the 15-20' Tahoe. I'll wait this out to see if it's something I want to go with. -

Also another question I have. Are projector housings specific to the type of bulb for example halogen requires one type while say LED requires another type? Still trying to figure all this stuff out and it's fairly new to me. Really appreciate everybody's input! -

Great intel thanks! Those headlight units are very cool unfortunately I'm not in the classy Denali category just the Tahoe. I don't see a full headlight assembly like that for the Tahoe. I might reach out to Morimoto and see if they have plans for ones in the near future. This is a tangent... -

Those are your low beams in the projector housing? Man I really love the look of the Spyder assemblies but I also don’t want to waste a bunch of money. What mad you go LED over HID? I know the HID set up is more complicated but I’ve read they are better for projector lenses. -

That’s impressive for sure! Although of both the OE and aftermarket headlight use projector set ups how do you conclude that the OE will be better? Have you done a comparison? 2018 Tahoe grille dipped and insert process
Looks awesome. Gonna do mine + the chrome window trim. Plan to install new headlight units. I have taken the number off once. Pain at first but this video help a LOT. -

Only way I was able to get it was to pull off the bumper. It’s a pain in the arse.
