Transmission Compatibility
Hey all, So the torque converter or lock out solenoid is going on my 99 Tahoe. The transmission was rebuilt 50k ago, truck sitting at 216k currently. I figured swapping the whole transmission would be a better bet than plugging me pieces in. Question is, will a transmission out of a 2002...- AJReed

Shifting Issue
Howdy. I have a 99 Tahoe, 4WD, 5.7. I've got an issue with the transmission I think. During steady acceleration through 40 mph to 50 mph, the truck feels like it's shifting back and forth between gears. If I increase throttle, it smooths out, then no problems after 50 mph. Same for everything...- AJReed
