    No one has run into this?? I think it must be the rea latch and was hoping someone hax a fix that did not include replacing it.

    Sorry been on vacation so just now seen theses. 2007 Tahoe LTZ. Fuse good and everything works except wiper unless I slam rear hatch.

    Anyone?? Must be a way to by pass the latch to make the wiper work all the time!

    If I use the button to close the rear door, the rear wiper does not work. But if I slam the rear door it will work. Also if I manually close the latch all the way, the wiper works. So is there a way to by pass the latch safety so the wiper will work? Thanks in advance

    I could not get the wire to go into the rubber boot after removing the tape, so I pushed it through from the inside. Worked well. Thanks again for the help!!!!

    Thanks Galante! And thanks for the help. This is my 1st Tahoe and I love it. It's a LTZ with 170K + miles on it and drive like a dream. Can only imagine how well it rode new. Looks new and only issue is the rear wiper works at times, but mostly not.
