Does anyone know if you can convert the 8 Lug, as well as the 5 Lug Ford dana 44 over to chevy 6 Lug? Also, What is the difference between the 8 Lug Ford Dana 44 and the 5 Lug Ford Dana 44 (both from the 77-79 era) besides the obvious number of lugs...- 98 2-DOOR

Air Intake Upgrades
Thanks for the info...should have asked around before purchasing. The duct is definitely rubbing the hood and my concern right now. I may cut out the area of liner that is in contact. I dont drive it every day, so not a huge concern, but still a concern.- 98 2-DOOR

I thought that may have been the case with the bulbs, but wasn't sure. Now i know...i had to order a couple more, so it should be simple this go around. About the TBS...whether it is a waste of money or not, it was a therapeutic to install, none the less! -

probably thinks a waste of money? I had a 2007 z71 tahoe and installed one, before any other mods just to see if I could tell a difference. To me, these things help throttle response more than anything, you can feel it as soon as you touch the gas.- 98 2-DOOR

There is just about never a time when a mod goes smooth...Had a fun time upgrading LED's (posted on interior) and putting in K&N FIPK and Airaid TBS. Naturally they are not made to work together...To make it work together, you have to changed out the two front bolts to extended studs, just as...- 98 2-DOOR

LED Conversion Light Codes
alright, got all but two of the LED lights converted over...had just ordered the wrong style for the back map lights. I don't know if anyone else struggled with doing this conversion, but the LED lights are finicky (sp?). I bet half didn't work after I installed all of them and of course... -

you left out labor to do all of that work...probably looking at least $2K to get all that done, unless you are a DIY guy.- 98 2-DOOR

Katzkin color opinion.
I like the seats. Looks nice IMO. With the extra leather from my katzkins, i put it in the arm rest area on my 98 to tie everything together. -
Need carpet installation help
I had a shop put aftermarket carpet in my 98 and they couldn't get it exact to OEM. It's ok, but there are some lose spots here and there...it seems to have gotten better over time though.
