It really comes down to whether or not we want to keep the vehicle. It's got 135K miles and the used market is so hot right now that we could get much more than we owe on it. Buffing it out to get it in decent shape and then selling it might be a good route for us.
I'm yet one more of the victims of this terrible paint issue. We noticed it a couple of years ago and I thought it was just something I could buff out. I was able to stave it off for some time with polishing and waxing, but it's really gotten bad as of late. Worse than any of the 10 GMs I've...
Mechanic found that the motor mounts need to be replaced. There was an exposed screw that was hitting the wire harness and they suspect it was causing some electrical misbehavior. They capped the screw and added some protection to the wire harness. So far, so good.
2007 Tahoe, LT2, 165k.
On a recent trip to LA, when coming to a stop I noticed that my Tahoe seemed to lurch forward. It was as if I was pumping the throttle. My foot was either on no pedals or on the brake. The tachometer would jump up to about 2500 RPMs. At the same time the temp gauge would...
I recently finished an install for a new stereo on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. I’ve been really happy with the results. For reference, I own a small recording studio and have produced albums for 15 years. I would say that I have very good ears when it comes to discerning high quality audio and am...
We bought a CPO 2015 Yukon XL with low miles. It’s in great shape and I was excited to try out the rear entertainment system. After plugging in an Xbox 360 in and hooking it up, I noticed that the input lag or delay was extremely noticeable. In fact it was so bad that it basically made video...
I just got back from towing my 3500lb popup trailer with my '15 YukonXL SLT and it's bucking and rough. The trailer is level, and I swapped out for a one piece drop hitch thinking the two piece had too much play. Minimal difference.
If we're on a smooth road going a consistent speed it feels...

Have you noticed any bucking or bouncing when towing? We just got back from a trip and our '15 Yukon XL SLT was acting terribly trying to pull a 3500lb popup trailer. I've had other Tahoes and Yukons in the past with out this issue.
I've owned multiple Yukons and Tahoes and have never experienced the towing problems we just had with our 2015 Yukon XL. It's bucking and surging and feels bouncy over ever small divot in the road. I switched hitches, but that did zero.
For context, this is a 3500 lb pop up trailer - way below...
