New Product Announcement! Headlight Restoration Kit!>>>

Well, if you check on the link, you'll notice a list of competitors that have a standing challenge for their headlight restorer and since 04, there havent been any takers in a head to head showdown. 3M is on that list. With that said, I've never personally used the 3M product, but if you...

New Product Announcement! Headlight Restoration Kit!>>>

This is perfect for anyone who is in need of restoring headlights/taillights, or wants to offer it to their customers. I've tested the product on both headlights & taillights (pics attached), and give it 2 thumbs way up :thumbup: Headlight Restoration Kit Now, some info on it...

    Sidesteps?

I use Poorboys Trim Restorer on textured black trim and it does a great job. Use it on a microfiber applicator pad for a little extra bite. Thats my best solution, hope it helps :) This took about 3 coats and then a final buff w/ a mf towel. I did a quick swipe so you could see just how bad...

    Wheels..

Depends on how bad they are. I've been using P21s Wheel Gel (on sale for today). Spray it on and allow it time to dwell. I let it sit for 20-30 minutes usually. For cleaning the inner barrels, an ez detail brush is the best thing I've come across. I wouldnt be without one. Then just top it off...

    Jeep SRT8 Detail

Prelude to a larger detail on a Benz that I'll hopefully finish up this weekend. Had the opportunity to detail a previous customer's new ride. He just picked up this 08 srt8 and wanted to look like new. no problem. I can do that! :) Wasnt in the worst condition. The driver's side of the hood...

    Leather

Yikes, I personally would not use simple green. If the leather is coated, it *may* be ok, but if the leather is exposed, you'd run the risk of removing the dye/color from the leather. I'd just be real careful w/ it, and dilute it ... a lot :) That said, I love my leatherique! Easy to use, being...

Nice writeup Timmy! Have you tried Optimum Finish Polish yet? Also, I'm surprised you dont have M105 as a heavier corecting product. I've done some of the heaviest work w/ that product. Use it either w/ a purple foamed wool pad on a rotary or 5.5" ccs pad on the PC (but applying a lot of...

    Black plastic

If you want to apply by hand, use Poorboys Trim Restorer on a Microfiber Applicator Pad. Simply Awesome stuff! If you dont mind an aerosol spray, Fade2Black has a really nice finish to it. And for wheel wells, Chemical Guys Bare Bones ---------- Post added at 09:32 PM ----------...

    Clay Bar

Truck looks great! I like the last pic. I can see what you mean in the hood pic though. :word: I would do this next time, or now if you want to redo it. Wash w/ Vinegar (diluted of course). This should help to remove the deposits/water spots. It'll only remove the minor/light/surface ones...

    new PC

If you already have a 7424, I wouldnt rush out to buy the new version. Although there is a slight improvement, I dont think it warrants selling your current one for this one. :Handshake:

You should have plenty. Waxes go further than you'd think. Remember, thin coats are always the way to go :Handshake: Speaking of which, our PC 7424xp and kits are on sale til the end of the month :) I'm going to get confused w/ "chris" and me... So it depends which "Chris" you're...

    Cg 5050

lol, well, it was one of us. But since we both have used it, I'll toss in my opinion as well. Similar to yours, I love 5050. I reach for it on almost all details honestly. It really is a personal favorite. Very good durability, and looks great. I find application and removal easy too. Heres...

    Detail Equipment Question

Thats probably the most popular pc package that we offer! The pads will actually last you quite a while. It'll obviously depend on how often you use them and some other factors, but if you if clean them right after use and treat them well, expect a full season out of them when using them to...
