I spoke with a representative today and they don't have one for the NNBS in the works but will if they get enough demand. If y'all have interest please email them at [email protected] so that we can get something more interesting in the aftermarket.
They are relatively reliable vehicles. Look for a cracked dash, peeling door handles, and other common issues listed throughout the forum. Milage wise it depends what you are comfortable with.
I would suggest putting on your parking brake if this ever happens again. That should put resistance on your rear wheels and allow the system to get a greater torque split to the front wheels.
Pull the plastic piece off and you will notice that at least one tab is snapped off. I wrapped the remaining tabs in duck tape and that stopped the rattle for me.
Hello All,
I have a 2010 Tahoe LT and need to replace the rear pads. I noticed that the ppv acdelco pads are substantially cheaper, and I would assume are better. I am wondering if these are interchangeable with the non PPV gmt900? They look the same but I have been fooled before so wanted...
Hello All,
I have a 2010 tahoe 5.3 and am getting a substantial amount of soot in and around the exhaust tip. My vehicle burns maybe 3/4 of a quart in 6,000 miles so nothing crazy there. I am wondering if I should consider replacing o2 sensors and if there is anyway of knowing if they are bad. I...
Hello All,
I have a 2010 tahoe 5.3 and am getting lots of soot in my tail pipe. Washed the vehicle yesterday and after 110 miles of driving the exhaust pipe is covered in soot. It consumes about 1 quart every 5,000 miles so not terrible. It has a catch can, cai, magna flow, and tune. I have...
I would consider a tune. My milage sucked before I got my 2010 tuned because of the air intake and exhaust. My 22's and 3" lift don't help the fact but I can get 21mpg highway if I try to be a little more conservative. A tune will also give you better performance.
Hello All,
I unfortunately am required to run cats where I live and am trying to find some long tubes with cats. What do y'all recommend?

Hello All,
Planning to dump some more money into the tahoe. I don't want to spend more than 2,000 and am wondering what y'all would do? I know I want to swap out the rear gears from the 3.08 to 3.42 or 3.73. I have done a 3" four corner lift magna flow exhaust cold air intake light bar and black...
So yesterday I went to Carmax to get an appraisal for shits and giggles. I knew I wasn't going to get a decent offer due to the modifications and it being Carmax but when they came back with $13,000 I was shocked. They told me my vehicle had frame damage and had front end damage(this I knew...
I went with a magna flow straight through muffler that I welded in where the stock exhaust was. It sounds good and has a much deeper sound when you get on it and is quiet when cruising. I also removed the resonator and put a slp delete on. This is probably the cheapest way to get a deeper...
Hello All,
I was talking with a friend who has a suburban about the slight oil consumption in my tahoe and he told me that he changed to 10w 40 high milage blend and that corrected his oil consumption. I am wondering if I should worry about changing oil weight and going back to blended oil...
Hello All,
I have a 3" lift on my 2010 tahoe and am looking for track bars to go along with my spohn adjustable pan hard bar. I like the look of the gloss black bars instead of the bent pieces that come from the factory. What ones do y'all recommend.
Hello,
I put a 3" front and rear lift on my 2010 2wd tahoe. I have noticed the rear axel is off center due to lift so I am wondering if I should get a new pan hard bar and if so which one? I am also wondering if there is a relocation bracket for our vehicles? I couldn't find anything online so I...
Hello,
I have a 2010 tahoe 5.3 with the 6 speed. My tranny went out when my torque converter failed. I had the internals replaced at Mr. Transmission and a hd torque converter put in. After spending over 4k to get it fixed it doesn't seem right. I keep taking it back to the mechanic and they say...
the +/- is for selecting the maximum gear in the manual mode. You have the 6 speed so it also lets you start in second if your on slick ground. Some of these trucks are prewired where you only have to put on a controller and run a wire on the fuse box. Some also came factory equipped with an...
This is a long shot but there are connectors on top of the frame above the rear shock mounts. I accidentally unconnected them when I replace my rear shocks and it made my abs go crazy. I would also check to make sure your front wheel speed sensor cables are not damaged.
Ok y'all I was trying to shoot a video today to show how much blow by I was getting but got a surprise. So instead of air coming out of the crank case, it seems to be drawing a vacuum. Still not sure if this is normal. I also apologize for the poor video quality.
