    I should have updated this thread, thank you for reply BTW. I found the culprit, it was a heater connector on the firewall, its the black one in the picture. It was leaking on the exhaust manifold and burning off. Glad I found it because I was about to replace the intake and intake manifold gasket.

    Whenever my 2004 5.3 Yukon is running I can smell coolant from outside of the vehicle. I have changed my water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, coolant temp sensor and my coolant tank. there is no sign of a leak (no wet spots) anywhere.     I used the JZ designs Alt bracket. I know for sure that I would need to mod the brake fluid reservoir. I will look into the DC to see , I never thought about that

    So I can add an additional alternator. I might be able to get a small case alternator and clear the hydraboost but I figured i'd ask to see if the swap wasn't a major pain in the butt. Not the best picture but as you can see adding a 4th alt might be a problem

    Its not finished just yet. We tested it with the port wide open, not sealed off and on only 10kw, it did a 156.3. 57's from the C-pillar is very very impressive!
