The cause was the antenna. Change it with the correct one and you'll be good to go. -

Ok, that is a pretty good perspective on it. On the sensors, I'll order the pigtail extensions. So, good there. Not solid on whether to change the 58x reluctor or go with the box. Still kicking that one around. I haven't gotten as far as the exhaust manifolds yet. The motor has PRC heads. I...- reath1

I have an LS3 with cathedral heads. Plan on putting it in a 2003 Z71 Tahoe. Looking for complete list of things that will need to be addressed and who supplies the parts. Would like to use as much off of the Tahoe as possible including the intake.- reath1

What I was actually saying is, I'd like to buy a damaged headlight from Ebay that the LED strip is still functioning in to have n hand if my "fix" on mine doesn't work that I could swap the boards out. Just wondering if I buy a left headlight would the board be the same as the right headlight... -

I haven't had a chance to tackle this yet but will soon. Question, to the best of your recollection, did the board appear to be "right" or "left" side only or did it appear that maybe it would work in either light? I know you only took one apart but what is your opinion? -

THANK YOU SIR! Yes, mine is working intermittently and also has moisture in it so I am betting that my problem is the same. Thanks again for this thorough write up. I too have been looking high and low for a fix for this because I didn't want to shuck out $900 for a new light. -
