At 55mph, the Far setting is 3 seconds, which is fine.
At 75mph, the Far setting is 2 seconds, which is WAY too close at that speed.
I'm guessing the GM Engineers who programmed this didn't have state speed limits above 55mph but many states are now 75mph and I can't use my adaptive cruise...
Got with the dealer and they said the pedals cannot be adjusted independently. They will only move in unison.
That bites...I must be more sensitive to it than others but it really bothers me. Not sure why GM would make the distance so much more than other vehicles...never noticed this...
I am absolutely loving my 2015i. Very few nits to pick except for this one...the distance relationship between the accelerator and brake pedals is off, way off. The brake pedal sits far further ahead of the accelerator to the point that it's really uncomfortable. I'd say that the accelerator...
Not at all happy with my Weathertechs. Got my wife Weathertech for her Yukon and mine got the Husky X-act Contour. No comparison at all.
Husky materials are FAR superior. Much thicker and much more pleasing rubber to the touch.
More importantly, the Weathertech fit is horrendous. What...
That bites! Sorry to hear that.
Same thing happened to my brand new RAM 1500 truck last year. Got towed to the dealership within the first week of ownership due to battery issues. It happens sometimes.
Hasn't had a single issue since then (and I truly LOVE that truck!) so hopefully...
Yes...it's definitely set to "Far". That seems to put the Yukon 30-35 feet (roughly 3 car lengths) from the bumper of the car in front of me. At 75 MPH highway speeds in my state, that's just too close (at least to me).
Other cars I've owned with Adaptive Cruise Control in their "Far" mode...
Agreed...on my 2015i Yukon (8 speed), my best 50 miles on the Highway averaged just a tad below 24 MPG according to the computer read-out. Not bad at all! Overall, I'm a bit below 18 MPG after 1,000 miles.
Agreed...I find the ACC system frustrating. Just posted in the Electronics sub-forum that I find the following distance just too close at 75 MPH.
Also, found a similar situation with the Yukon not being able to determine which lane a truck was in (not mine) when we were rounding a gentle...
New 2015i Yukon Denali owner here. I've been trolling the Forums for a bit for good info. so thanks to so many incredible posts and posters! So much valuable information!
Absolutely loving the Yukon but one of my few gripes is the Adaptive Cruise Control following distance. Even on the...
