2018 Yukon Denali - Door Alignment Off?

No...the two front creases are in perfect alignment. Skewing the back of the door upward will make the gaps look ugly.

2018 Yukon Denali - Door Alignment Off?

If you notice within the top and bottom circles, the door is slightly lower than the adjacent door. The first impression is simply raising the door would address the problem. There are, however, some other issues to consider. First, if you note the two inner circles, the door is aligned...

2018 Yukon Denali - Door Alignment Off?

That is NOT a hinge or alignment problem. I'll post a photo later today to illustrate what is wrong with the door.

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

Well, since you have full access to LN, you'd know (a) how to form a search to return appropriate citations; and, (b) don't need to waste my time doing what you already know. Furthermore, there's more than one. Feel free to use Westlaw if you'd prefer.

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

In some situations, they are and the advice taken is assumed by the recipient to be such. Here's a hypothetical example. A response is, I have run my **** in Auto for the last year with no issues (what GM Legal considers the subtle difference between Auto and AWD is unknown to me). The recipient...

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

The applicable case law here would be from the State of Washington (except where the 'expert' advice originated from Canada). LexisNexis would be your source. Happy to provide my WSDOT ID (in person). I don't mind people asking questions, I dislike individuals who cannot take the time to read...

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

You have a $70K plus vehicle...rather a good idea to protect your investment and read the book (which would clearly answer your "next question". BTW, anyone can give you advise...if it turns out wrong, they can be culpable. So...no answers here but do take the time to read the book instead of...

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

Read the manual. There's a difference between "don't","not recommended", etc. Guess what...you can download the pdf of that manual and do text searches ... might make it easier for you to find your answers. BTW, you don't have an Expedition, you have a Yukon. You should expect some differences...

Just bought an ‘18 Yukon Denali

In the glove box of your new '18 is a book called "Owner's Manual". You might want to read it. For the record, it say's to keep it in 2WD unless road conditions dictate otherwise. On the other hand, it's your ride, do whatever you can afford with it.

2017 Tahoe Premier vs Yukon Denali---which would you buy and why?

I doubt you'll get those numbers...not in the manufacturer's best interest. Consider turbos (even with intercoolers) are very hot and the smaller engine must work much harder (and hotter). I suspect we'll start seeing numbers in three years and my guess (experience with turbo car and airplane...

    2018 Yukon XL Denali

Oh...one more thing. GMC needs to drop Bose in the Denali and Escalade in favor something from Harmon, JBL, or Meridian which would provide ambiance extraction (something like Logic7) and provide support for Dolby Digital/DTS.

    2018 Yukon XL Denali

Yes. Better all around. Still pissed about bird's eye view however. Cheap shot by GMC.

    2018 Yukon XL Denali

My '18 Yukon Denali is quieter, ride is not as harsh/firm but still solid, shifting is very smooth without drama (and generally not noticed). I've had three '15 Denali's prior to the '18 (none had buffeting or vibration). Just one piss off ... there is absolutely no excuse for not having the...

    OnStar Smart Driver Discounts

Executed some controlled tests (with LEO assistance). The parameters are clearly designed to benefit the insurance carriers, not you. For example, adaptive cruise control on, vehicle in front of you is at 45 in a 60 zone. Moving to an unoccupied lane (cruise set to 60) will guarantee a 'rapid...

    2016 Press Release Updates

"Fold-flat second- and third-row seats that enhance cargo capability and convenience – including an available power-folding feature" I'll hold off my "BS" call for later. They still haven't got that right in the '15 models.

2015 Denali = VERY ANNOYING Electrical "Jingle" Noise LF Dash

"Oh it just happens in every Denali" The proper response to that statement is: "Oh, good. Then you know exactly what the fix is. Fabulous. I'll pick my Denali up this afternoon.?"

Do your 3rd row seats fold down flat?

From the GMC Media Kit, 2015 Yukon: “To give owners the added functionality of going from passenger space to cargo usage, the third-row seat now folds flat to the floor.” Yukon Denali Owner Manual, 2nd printing, page 3-11 “The seatback will fold forward to create a flat load floor.” Yukon Denali...

    2015+ Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade Tech Info

GM was given the right advice but GM was "smarter" than the experts and ended up with a system under powered (processor power) to do what they intended, with bluetooth that wouldn't support what they intended and with an audio system that would be an embarrassment even in a Corvair or Ford...
