Ummmmm....HELP!!!
'99 denali, 4wd, 5.7L, 150k miles. Ran like a top, no issues. Started with 0130 code, narrowed to 0133, then started running like starving for fuel & threw both banks lean codes. P0171 and......
1999 denali, 5.7L 150k mileage....was having P0300 code issue some months back, cap & rotor resolved it. Shortly thereafter, P0303 popped up. '99 denali 4wd upper balljoint
am replacing 1 upper balljoint, passenger side only. Do i need to 'preload' in any way? & how? Should i put pressure/push/pull in towards engine or out towards street? & is that the ball joint itself or the bolts...or is there no play in tge bolts/fit hole tight?- Needmoremoney

Dreaded misfire code....
'99 denali 5.7 vortec with 145k on it. At 115k developed severe miss, acutron codereader showed P0300. No spark to cylinder 3, replaced cap & rotor-which left me wondering how truck even ran, cleared code, & has been fine til recently. '99 denali lighted visors
Both cheesy, hinged plastic doors have broken off the visors & the lights stay on unless i wedge something up there....then i cant drive on a bright day with the visors down. No wipers, windows or stereo
As an FYI, yesterday, it never cut out once. This morning, started truck-fine. Shut off, started up-fine, stereo went out & 20 miles of driving, its still off. Where am i finding brown output wire of ignition? Do i have to remove all the trim pieces from around column, or is it under...- Needmoremoney

Side window visors
Anybody got any info-i've seen dark tint/matte black side window visors for 1999 denali that do not 'bubble' out like usual ones. They are almost flat to the side of the body. I can't find them anywhere. Any ideas?- Needmoremoney

Maybe. But it sure as hell doesnt even remotely resemble whats under the hood of my '99 denali. And 20 minutes per side? I swapped out the 3000's for 5000k's this afternoon in less then 4 minutes total. Both sides- Needmoremoney

One last post for good measure....having owned my '99 denali for 4 months, i purchased an owners manual on ebay. Mailman just delivered it, i went to the 'headlamp bulb replacement' page & PRESTO! The instructions were exactly as i did it, remove 2 screws in turn signal assembly, pop it...- Needmoremoney

Ok so did it. Done. 8 minutes to do both sides. So raiderron, i have no idea what vehicle you described :wtf: not even close to my '99 denali. Bigal, however, almost dead on. I did have to remove the 2 screws & the signal lite housing to actually pull the headlite housing out. I...- Needmoremoney

The '99 denali resembles the 2000, not the '99 tahoe or yukon, however those 2 bolts appear to be whats on my denali. Just got home from work, hopefully much earlier tomorrow so i'm gonna try that one then!- Needmoremoney

Hmmmmm....so on drivers side the washer fluid container is about a foot away from back of headlamp. There is 1 hole right there. I can pull plug off of bulb, but bulb is NOT coming out of that hole. The headlight housing needs to be removed from the truck. As for the passenger...- Needmoremoney

Its dark out, its cold out & both low beams on 1999 denali went out within 2 minutes of each other. I have hi-beams, so i'm ok for the moment. So....how do i change 'em? Google a '99 denali & it shows me the twist clips & rods on 2008 or newer. Not much help. Do i just remove those...- Needmoremoney

Between this & 95escahoe, yes, possibly, i think so. So 1st, are you saying a hood from a 2000 denali OR yukon will fit my '99, but a '99 yukon hood will NOT? I'm finding hoods for '00 denali, but nobody can give me clear cut answer though i'm almost positive a '99 tahoe or yukon sle will...- Needmoremoney

Thanks....i think....any more suggestions? Cuz.....today i stopped by my local gmc dealership....the parts guy has confused me even more. He spoke of a gm strike in 1998 that caused some late '98's to be labeled as 99's. However, i'm not sure how that caused any problems cause the body...- Needmoremoney

Fault codes?
Have a 99 denali with 'service engine soon' light on. BOTH are P1345 crankshaft position/camshaft position sensor as per actron code reader. 1/2 says 'sensor correlation CONFIRMED'. 2/2 says 'sensor correlation PENDING'. So.....can anybody give me an idea of exactly what that means...- Needmoremoney
