is there a write up on repairing a rusted brake line? I have a 1/4" hole in my brake line where the rust ate through it. It's on the line a few inches infront of the fuel filter at the housing that holds the line.
If not is there a quick fix that can hold the fluid temporarily?
From the looks of it. I'm thinking get rid of the spacers, but here's mine. I hope this helps.

How hard was it to change your compressor? I got a 95 too and my compressor is gone too. If you have a write up or if there's a how to anywhere let me know.
Back to pics. Here's a couple from the NYAS last weekend.

Sorry these are all I was able to get before I got to the GM exhibit.
A few weeks ago my truck wouldn't start one morning. I wouldn't start in any gear. I thought it was the starter/+battery. I didn't notice any clicking and everything still worked when i turned the key so I eliminated both of those.
I did a little research and came across the neutral safety...
I think he means the rear seats don't look stock. They look leather from what I can see.
Truck looks good with the wheels and the headlights.
I'd lose the step bars tho :imo:

Sounds like a deal to me. U can also sell your CVR's and put that toward the L7's.
Just a shot in the dark, after searching a little more. I saw someone having the same exact issue as me also with a clunking when shifting out of first to second gear only. Can also be the torque converter? I assumed the two can have nothing to do with each other so I didn't add it to my...
I just started really driving the truck within the past 2 weeks. It appears after the engine is warm I start to get a little shaking idle. Not much change in rpm's and no loss in power while driving. When I come to a stop I sometimes have to put the truck in neutral to stop it from shutting off...
:word: pics would really help out all us noobs. Or a how to with pics would be perfect. I'm thinking about attempting to crank my Tahoe myself when it gets a little warmer.
This thread is helping with my research and saving me money. I've been seeing a lot of key lift kits and was wondering if...
I'm looking for a decent but not too expensive alarm. I'm only looking for the basics keyless entry, remote start. What are some good alarms to look at nothing more than $180 tho. Also what features should I look for in a decent system?

how hard is it to get in your back seat without them folding forward like the regular 2 door seats do?
The guy i got my Tahoe from put 2 regular front(cloth)seats in my truck and it's a major PITA when anyone has to get in or out. It's not looking too good to find 2 leather front...
Good luck finding leather 2 door seats that slide forward. I've been looking for years and have gone through 2 trucks and still haven't found any that are a ridiculous price.
Truck looks real clean btw.
For pre 96' trucks, are the connectors the same as the ones on the kits you'd get from wal-mart or auto zone or is there a special adapter.
I tried to use this on my 95 but it didn't snap on to the line the way it did on my other cars.
