    I advanced the timing 12 deg above 0. And 0 is were it is supposed to be at. Also that is not including the advance the computer does after plugging the ICM back in. Still running not back firing. Stumbles at idle every now and then.I think maybe I need to back the timming down a little.

    I have been driving it around for a couple of days now. No more back fire, Stumbles a little bit here and there. Not sure why it needed some much timing but it seems to have solved some of the problems for now. Thanks for all yalls help and advice.

    Got it back from shop yesterday. 5 days and they have no idea what is wrong with it either. Advanced the timing today 12 deg. It is not back firing. Will give it a couple of days and updated.

    Shop called today and it is not fuel issue. Think it is a spark issue.

    Checked pressure and it was at 8psi. So sent it to repair shop to have a pump put in it. Hope it fixes it.

    Did not check with a gauge. When I had the tb off I turned the key on and saw there was plenty of gas coming out of the line. So I assumed it was good. Could not find a test kit any where close and was needing the truck for work.

    If the coolant seansor was bad wouldnt the computer pick it up and give a fault code? The O2 sensor is 3 or 4 wire, dont remember which.     I am back to my same problem I was having. 95 Yukon Back fire through TB, does not want to accelerate. Does this when temps outside get below 30 degrees. Above that little to no problems. Also putting up code 44 ( O2 seansor see a lean cond)

    Tires might need to be balanced. You might check the drive shaft to make sure it is not loose or some bearings fell out.

    conclusion Picked up truck from shop on Saterday. They said to try ing module. Found the gauge fuse blown. Changed it and the ing module. Truck is running now. Also found the SIS bulb that was not there. Thanks for all yalls help.

    I pulled the inst cluster out and there is three holes with no bulbs, but they are for the disel vertion.     95 yukon back fire

    95 yukon, having problem with back firing through TB, Stalling, sputtering & will not accelarate. Does not do it all the time seams to be spuratic.Have check timing, fireing order. Have changed o2 sensor, cap, rotor, coil, plugs, wires, EGR valve, fuel filter. No engine light coming on. Any ideas?
