OK, so I have been gone for awhile but I'm back now. Somebody posted a video a while back that had a mystery noise under the hood. The problem ended up being a vibrating power steering hose but I dont remember the fix and cannot for the life of me find the thread. Do any of you remember that...
I replaced mine back in June with a Delphi one. I also replaced the compressor hose, dryer and condensor. That was a real hit to the pocket book even at wholesale. Works now though. Seems like I replace the stupid compressor hose on every Chevy truck I own.
If you are going to do a lot of detailing the orbital will not cut it. I use the crap out of the DeWalt buffer in my shop. If there are scratches on the vehicle you need the friction a variable speed buffer provides. It does take some practice but once you get the hang of it it's the only way...
When I work on a grille like yours I spray it down with Non-corrosive engine degreaser and brush it with a paintbrush style detail brush. Rinse clean and you are done.
Nope. I would just make sure that the speakers in the dash and rear were upgraded to good quality ones. Whatever you brand choice is. If you havent replaced the ones in the dash then I would replace them with some good plate style ones like the Infinity 462.9 cfp. With a good quality deck...
Whever I use 4x6 plates I use the Infinity 462.9 cfp. Awesome speakers.

6 1/2" speakers or woofers? If you are just adding some boxes with 2 way speakers in it I would forget it. It wont give you much for the work you will put into running wire. If you are adding a sub (8" or above) then it will give you some more low end. You then would have to add an amp and...
Mine is from ACC and I had to do quite a bit of fitting and cutting to make it look factory. The biggest fit problem was in front of the center console under the dash. A little nip and tuck and it looks good now.
A quality upholstery shop will replace the seat bolster section you refered to for roughly $100.00 and match it perfectly. Thats what I did and it looked factory.
I have the front and rear seats(tan leather), trim panels, center console and floor matts out of a 99 4 door. All tan leather in great condition. Let me know.
Bushwackers are pretty spendy for what they are as well but they are the closest aftermarket to OEM. I would much rather have the OEM painted flares. The Sport flares on a 2 door would'nt work since the rear flares are a two piece configuration on the 4 doors. Cant be the textured non-painted...
That looks great. I may be looking at that wheel option. My current tires are 305/50/20 and are flippen huge. I would stick with the 285s myself. With 305 tires you ride over the top of the ruts in the road so when one side drops in it sends the car in the opposite direction. The ride is...
The wheels look great.
I dont like the flat black vehicles. Looks like they are just in primer and need to be painted. Thats because I paint vehicles for a living though.
Fender flares are attached with screws and double sided tape. Just remove the screws, grab a corner and pull...
95-96 dashes are a different style than the 97-2000. I dont remember if the pocket is different on those. If I were you I would do this:

Mine is a wood working shop until I build a shop out back. Any working on the truck and car is done at my Body Shop which is 5 minutes from my house. I would really like to park my cars in the garage though.
