I have the Torque Pro app but some of PIDs don't work like cylinder misfire counts mainly.
I have a 1997 chevy tahoe. If you have the Torque app can you tell me if the cylinder misfire counts work for you? thanks
I have in my truck now part # 16187556 and there is a 4 digit # below that I have 7070.
I have 2 spare MAP sensors from the junk yard all with the same #16187556 but the 4 digit numbers for those are 7252 and 6304

I changed my oil cooler lines the other day and they fit loosely at the oil adapter. I can pull them in and out about an 1/8" roughly and spin the lines. I pushed them in until i heard click from the retaining clip and slip the plastic caps over and they clicked too. Weird the lines feel...

I took a 2 hour drive yesterday and I experienced heavy shuddering above 60-65 mph going uphill. It got so bad at times it shook the dashboard. If I let off the gas and give it harder throttle it would stop.
Also going uphill I seem to have no power at all. I have to really mash on the gas...
The main line that broke was the one going to the rear and it comes out of the ABS pump. Since I have to remove it I assume the ABS pump has to be bleed? I read a scan tool is required to bleed the ABS pump and I don't want to go through all that unless i have to.

So I got my fuel pump in finally and when I was done the brake light was on. I checked the master cylinder and the front section was bone dry.
It's the line on the frame rail between the fuel tank that broke. Is that a 1/4" line? These trucks only use 1/4 and 3 /16 lines correct?
What a hell of a job! This is going to be a 3 day job for me. I got the tank out today but didn't get the fuel pump out of the tank. The lock ring is so badly rusted I might have to break it out.
The quick connect fuel lines just snapped the plastic on the fuel pump so that was easy but...
I went out and it wouldn't start kept cranking and cranking. Pressed on the fuel line shrader valve and just a dribble of fuel came out. Tried starting it a few times and nothing. So I grabbed my 3 lb mallet and crawled under the gas tank and tapped it then it started up.
It starts up...

Is their any way to eliminate the quick connect fittings on the fuel pump? It made things quicker to assemble at the factory but I don't trust those quick connects. Could I use regular fuel line and some band clamps or would the pressure be too high and blow the hose right off?

What happens if I messed with that screw on the throttle body that is for the throttle plate? Will it cause the engine to run rough or idle rough?
