How much fluid will I need to change the filter in an 04 Yukon w/ a deep pan ? I'm getting about 2 1/2 qt's out with the drain plug.- JD4440

04 Yukon lurches forward on startup
Mine does it say 3-4 times out of 5 cold starts. It has 142k on it now had 140 when I bought it and it was obvious it had a full 100k service along with the trans. I've been changing it a drain at a time; I'll change the filter this next time as I've ran 10 qts. through it.- JD4440

I get my alignments at the dealer and they just installed a new high dollar machine during the GM mandated remodel. Both them and the chevy dealer here did. And I know the man that does the work personally and he's very particular; He'd tell you if it was worn at all I'm sure. I guess it...- JD4440

04 Yukon lurches forward on startup
My 04 Yukon lurches forward on startup 9x% of the time and has a delayed 1-2 shift. Would that be something simple or a tq converter ?- JD4440

It does feel like what I would think a loose pitman arm would feel like, but wouldn't they find that while being lined up ? It's almost like it has speed sensitive steering and it's not tightening up at speed.- JD4440

HI , I have a new to me Yukon that seems like you have to really drive it to stay in the lane/keep straight. It was bad when I bought it w/ 143k but just figured it was worn shocks or needed a line up. I've replaced the wheels and new michelins w/ road force balancing, new keys and extenders...- JD4440
