Thanks Dylan, I am not able to send PM's yet so hopefully he will chime in. I am enjoying driving around my Tahoe, I am selling a 2006 Tundra Double Cab that I replaced with the Tahoe for no payments.
NORCAL you're right, I measured the spacer and it's exactly 3". Damn that messes up my plans. I either leave it or have it removed and continue with lowering it...decisions decisions. Here are 2 pics, one of the spacer and the other of the gap.
here is another pic from the side. there are no lifting blocks and the springs look stock. I think it might just be the way it looks with the wheels and tires that are on it now. I am looking at a set of 22" Irocs with either 285/45's or 305/45's and for lowering I am going to start with 2"...
Thanks for chiming in everyone. I will take better pics tomorrow. From the angle the truck looks like it sits high however when I got underneath it I didnt see where the bumper had been raised or body gaps that would be associated with a body lift. I think they may be stock but not sure.
I just bought a 99 Tahoe and am interested in lowering it a couple inches. I am planning on 22" wheels with 285/45 tires because I have a boat that I need to tow. My boat is 20ft and is set up on the trailer so the tongue wait is 250lbs max. Does anyone have the type of set up I'm looking for...
