    Another thing to consider, 4wd tends to hold its value a lot more. Also easier to resell. Most people looking for an SUV want 4wd.

    I recently picked up a new 2012 and opted for the heavy duty tow package. I've towed my boat (2500 lbs total) a couple times, and I think it tows just fine. Honestly, I felt it did less gear changes and hunting in tow mode with the trailer, than it does in normal driving without towing.
