After changing the solenoid it helped a little but in the end yes changing my torque converter did solve my problems.

This'll be my first engine. I'll be looking around for some parts and hopefully score some on marketplace. Been looking for heads but haven't had much luck.

Here's the culprit. FTI w/billet plate = 10" in diameter New Circle D = 12" in diameter.
I wish I could remember the details when I bought it. It's been about 10/11 years and a lot of bullsh*t. But it definitely paid its dues.
I get so confused with some of this terminology haha. And I always forget that it doesn't have spindles.
So, a Timken wheel bearing hub assembly for an 07/14 will bolt to the newer style aluminum knuckles?

Do the hubs from the 07/14 fit the newer aluminum hubs?
I'm ordering new ones now but put it on hold until it is confirmed they fit the newer aluminum XFE spindles.

@NickTransmissions going through some older threads I saw you mention the thickness of the converter clutch being at least .050 thick and your builders are .070 thick.
The brand I'm looking at use woven carbon clutch packs and are a standard .020 thick. Lighter better materials but at what trade...
