Cruise is out -- going to try BCM soon. Auto-sense windshield wipers are also not working for some reason. Related?

Eibach 3882.312 rear sway bar kit

Yeah, mine must have been $165 also.....I got it from Summit. Must have remembered the numbers reversed.

Eibach 3882.312 rear sway bar kit

$156 shipped.....Installed this morning. 6 easy bolts, great project to have my 6 year old help with and one of the best bang for the buck mods out there for those of us with the 4x4 / bigger tires ride. I drive a Corvette or G8 GT daily, so I tend to expect vehicles to handle decently...

    ReadyLift 1.5" Front Levelling Kit (Part# 66-3090)

Thanks, man. I like the Coopers a lot. I was wary of buying an AT tire, after my 2008 Z71 4x4 Avalanche's OEM Bridgestones made so much noise. I decided on the Coopers over the Nittos because they look a little more rugged (instead of balloony) and they are supposed to last longer. So...

    ReadyLift 1.5" Front Levelling Kit (Part# 66-3090)

Ah, good point. And, in my opinion, 4x4 or "lifted / level" Tahoes look best with a slightly lower forward rake anyway (maybe 1.5"-2" -- I think it matches the body lines). My guess is raising the front of a stock Tahoe a true 1" or 1.25" would be about perfect.....although that might not be...

    ReadyLift 1.5" Front Levelling Kit (Part# 66-3090)

I would like to leave the ReadyLift at its current level, because it is a lot more work to go back in the fronts than it is to do the rears (alignment, etc). That, and when loaded with 3rd row passengers, I still get a little rubbing on occasion with my 33" tires in the rear, even after I...

    ReadyLift 1.5" Front Levelling Kit (Part# 66-3090)

Just a friendly FYI: I had this adjustable kit professionally installed at the (highest) 1.5" front lift setting and its been in use for about 3 months. When I went to pick the Tahoe up, I was a bit surprised -- I thought it looked like too much lift in the front. The guy said the kit...

    VaraRam Tri-Power for 2009+

The problem is that 2009+ MAFs are no longer separate housings. My MAF simply plugs / drops into a hole in the stock airbox neck (modular, sort of like an IAT sensor). There are no CAIs available at the moment which properly accomodate this. This is why I'd simply like a new tube (may...

    VaraRam Tri-Power for 2009+

I just called VaraRam and they said they should have this revised design (to accept the modular MAF) completed by late spring / early summer 2010. It would be interesting to see how it's going to change. If the answer is merely to drill a hole in the box for the plug-in MAF, I'd be ok buying...

    What exhaust are you running?

I swapped out the stock muffler for the Magnaflow 12589. Then, I removed the resonator and piping back to the axle and replaced with custom piping that is higher up and unseen from behind. It dips down to a really subtle Magnaflow 3.5" x 12" tip that peeks out. I'll post a pic when my...

    Check this out !!!

And, again, I wasn't comparing gains. Nowhere did I mention that. I'm saying their claims were true for that application. This is called "precedence" and (with rational people) this lends itself toward secondary, unrelated claims to perhaps be more believable (unless wholly proven...

    Anyone Got a 6.2L

True, the trucks do seem faster to me. I had a 2004 Silverado VHO (2wd SS precursor test model) - 6.0L......it was a lot faster than the 6.2L Escalades I have driven. But, when the 2007 VMAX crew cabs came out I went to test one and thought it was slower than my VHO. I think it's just...

    Anyone Got a 6.2L

Just as a little bit of a confirming opinion on sluggishness (depends on your reference point): Earlier in 2009 I drove several 2007-2009 Escalades (probably about 6 of them) - 1 for an extended 2-day / 200 mile test drive. I was unimpressed in general, even with the ones that were broken in...

    Check this out !!!

I'm not comparing the vehicles -- why would I? I am saying I got exactly what was promised, and more. Also, these are not $400 (at least up to the 2008s). More like $258, free ship, no tax...

    Check this out !!!

I trust their products and their numbers. I have one on my G8 GT, and there is no better way to go. I am just waiting for them to make this one work for the 09+ Tahoes (they have a screw in MAF, not a separate unit) and I'll jump on it.

    Best Sway Bars

I'm also interested in the Eibach rear bar, although I wish it wasn't red (black would be better). I looked up under there to see what exactly I'd be replacing, and how to install a new rear sway bar. The little bars (links?) that hang down and bolt to the ends look really weak.....do they...

2009 Tahoe LTZ 6.2 - still looking - need more info from owners

    2008 6.2L Tahoes are only 2WD. 2009 is the only year with 6.2L 4x4 Tahoes. 2010, 6.2L Tahoes don't exist.

Best price on an 09 LTZ

Nah, but I hate getting into pissing contests with random trolls who don't understand math (like the last thread). I'll just say that he can easily get more than $10k off MSRP. Hell, I got $7k off MSRP PLUS 0% for 72 mos. financing the ENTIRE TAHOE. In other words, I got about $3115...

How much $$ did you pay for your Magnaflow/ install

I'm also trying to figure out what to do. I don't want it too loud, but yet I also find the resonator to be fairly ugly and want it gone. I'm also not into: dual tips (on one side) dual tips (one on each side) oval tips (single, dual, any) Best I can figure is to buy the...
