Wow that's some good information right there, I spent a lot on this cable especially have to pay the shipping and import fees to Canada so I really hope I can use their connector, but if not I'll give this method a go! Let me know what you come up with.
Unfortunately i'm STILL looking for the solution to this install. The instructions pretty much just say "locate the camera harness and unplug it then plug ours in" without actually saying where its located... through my googling i've been unable to find a solution to this nearly 9 months later.
There used to be ones that had a sweet blue glow available from my dealer back when I bought my truck new in 2010. Since then i've never been able to locate a part number or even a picture of those lighted door sills in use. I'm not sure if it was a GM product or an aftermarket accessory. I...
Current confirmed part numbers are for the front only... not sure if back logo sill plates were ever made. I just purchased a set back in June from GM Parts Depot Canada and they installed in 2 minutes and look great!

I recently installed a head unit in my 2011 Avalanche which currently has the backup camera monitor built into the rear view mirror. I purchased a pigtail splitter from Camera Source which will allow me to re-direct the feed to the head-unit as well. The only problem is I have no idea where...
So I just bought a DJM 0/2 lowering kit for my 2010 Avalanche which came with replacement rear coil springs and shock extenders. I figure while I'm down there I might as well replace my OEM shocks with some Monroe reflex as my factory ones now have close to 110K on them. I cannot for the life...
I got mine last summer at Wheel Outlet Inc, on their eBay store for about $889 USD before shipping... absolutely worth every dollar, by the time it reached Canada it was closer to $1700 Canadian... which was cheaper than the nearly $3000 + taxes the dealer quoted me!
I was about to pick up a Mechman 270A alternator and it's noted that I'll require a shorter drivebelt with the 1.75" pulley. Some people say the stock belt length is fine because of the spring tensioner, others say it's imperative that you replace it with the correct size belt. I'm having...
If I upgrade to a mechman or higher output unit do I have to start worrying about different belts, pulley ratios or upgrading my charging system to support something like that?
So the other day as I was driving my navigation unit suddenly turned off, my airbag light came on then a "service traction control" warning in the DIC appeared briefly. I peered over at the battery gauge and it was way below the usual 14v (Especially for a new battery less than a few months...
Yes it is. It's the new 2015.5 logo. You can order these wheels with or without the logo on the center caps. No bowtie logo caps are available for these wheels yet.
I've been rolling around on these for the last couple months and only now just got around to taking some new photos. My truck rides and handles better than it ever has before with the Nitto 420S tires. Needless to say these wheels were definitely the best addition to my truck this year!
I was just about to buy a series of V3 tritons for my front DRL and signals since I have them in my tail lights... I looked up front and it didn't look like there was enough clearance to support V3's without them bumping into the radiator mount. How was the fit? Was it tight or did it go in...
Actually since I put on my 22x9 wheels my ride and handling got way better coming from my factory 17's. No suspension upgrade necessary if you're planning on maintaining your factory ride height. Definitely enjoying the larger wheels, no regrets.
I have a bottle of Pre-Wow residue remover and Black Wow Pro on the way... I won't see it for another week yet but will update on the results if anybody is interested.
Just got my new shoes fitted today!
22" 2015 Escalade Platinum Reproductions (22x9 ET+31) on Nitto 420s 285/45/R22
Just a touch of rubbing at full lock on the mud flaps but they ride great... better than the factory 17s that I had on previously thats for sure!
I did some digging around and read some rather favorable reviews and saw some sweet pictures of these tires on various Chevy trucks so I think I'll be going with them. The Yukon looks great with those factory wheels but 22's would really set it off ;)
I bought them from wheel outlet on eBay. Available in 22" or 24" with your choice of blank or new style Caddy logo center cap

I just picked up a set of the new style Platinum wheels and I'm having a hard time trying to find a good tire within my budget. I was looking at a set of Nitto 420S and I love the look of the tire... it looks sporty and fast though I'm wondering if it will actually look good with a luxury style...
Something similar happened to me... turns out the fuse for the passenger side locks was slightly loose in the socket (so I just bent the prongs on the fuses a bit). It effected the locks, windows and power mirrors on the one side of the vehicle only. Yours however seems like it could be a...
Do you happen to have any more pictures of your Yukon with these rims at a different angle or different lighting. After looking at a couple pictures of the replicas it really seems like the gun metal grey part of the rims seems a lot darker... almost black at certain angles than the factory...
