    I would do the job myself but at the moment im on a work release thing with the county so if im not at work im in jail. anyways i have a friend charging me 200 and plus parts so seems fair. Sunlet i think the test was a compression test on the block

    Im going to check the radiator but like i stated the issue is when driving not parked . I dont see any leaks coming from the radiator or engine bay , only thing i hear is a hissing noise from the radiator.

    The thermostat was just replaced i wondering why it wouldnt open. but yeah the upper radiator hose is soft i can squeeze it real good. So would that be the thermostat ? what if i pulled the stat out and just ran it without one? The lower hose would tend to make the car overheat?

    I have the fan running , I checked to see that it was running, havent checked on a cold start but know when i noticed the heat rising i opened the hood and it was blowing . and when u say do feel the heat thats when im standing in front of the truck? and the upper hose did not seem too stiff

    Ok So how my buddy told me to check and see if there is a clog is to let it get to running temp, then squeeze hose , if its easy to squeeze there is something clogging the system

    What kind of power gains can make actual difference to the feel of the motor. The 5.7 seems pretty sluggish. Just wondering if they really need overhaul like stroker kits or F/I to get some gains. Or can simple bolts on be helpful to see gains that will be noticeable . Possibly looking for 300 hp .
