You do not need a Tech2 to program the new key....You start the truck with your original then shut off insert new key start vehicle within a few seconds.

I bought 2 fobs off Amazon for 24 bux and went to local llocksmith and they programed them for $ 35 each, my truck is 2011 and must be programed with a tech2 or dealer or good locksmith.

The Hoe has 87k on it so I plan on getting trans serviced and Diff service very soon.

Seen all the A/C temps and the only stored error is no comm. with the digital radio.

So does it need to be flashed to my VIN or just updated to my vin with tech2 for Anti theft?
Or just send it to WWW.LT1SWAP.COM and have him do the vin update and dod delete,then do security when i get it back?
